Lucknow boy to lead Indian junior hockey team

Amir Ali, son of a motorcycle mechanic, will captain the Indian junior men’s hockey team at the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia. The team, announced by Hockey India, includes fellow Lucknow player Shardanand Tiwari. India will face Japan, Great Britain, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand in the group stage.
