Namo Bharat train enters Delhi: Trial run begins between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar RRTS station

The Namo Bharat train begins trial runs on a 12-km stretch from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar. This marks the Delhi entrance for the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, including stations at Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar. The complete 82 km corridor is targeted for completion by June 2025, reducing travel time between Delhi and Meerut to under an hour.
