Govt has deactivated 1.7 crore mobile connections, blocked 45 lakh ‘scam’ calls so far

The government has disconnected 1.77 crore mobile connections obtained via fake documents using AI tools. Telecom providers have blocked 45 lakh spoofed international calls. Additionally, 11 lakh bank accounts and payment wallets linked to these fake connections were frozen, and significant legal actions have been taken.
