Nikhila Vimal on rejecting ‘Meppadiyan’: I knew I had nothing to do in the film

Mollywood actress Nikhila Vimal declined a role in the Unni Mukundan film ‘Meppadiyan’ after realizing her character had minimal significance and the script wasn’t entirely developed. Disappointed director Vishnu Mohan later cast Anju Kurian for the role. Nikhila eventually collaborated with Vishnu on his second directorial venture, ‘Kadha Innuvare,’ a feel-good drama. Recently, she appeared in the hit film ‘Nunakkuzhi’ with Basil Joseph and the comedy ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
