Maharashtra Govt sets up commission for probe into shooting of Badlapur sexual assault accused
The Maharashtra government has set up a Commission of Inquiry to investigate the police’s alleged shoot-out that resulted in the death of Akshay Shinde, accused in a Badlapur school sexual assault case. Retired Chief Justice Dilip Bhosale will lead the inquiry. The panel aims to determine the sequence of events, responsibility, police actions, and suggest preventive measures.
