Government announces Rs 6,000 crore flood aid for 14 states

Major recipients include Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, and Bihar. Home Minister Shah affirmed the Modi government’s support for states affected by heavy rainfall, floods, and landslides, promising further assistance post-damage assessment.
