Bhopal: Sr cooperative officer caught red-handed by Lokayukta in bribery case

A senior Cooperative Department official in Bhopal, Vinod Kumar Singh, was arrested by the Lokayukta’s Special Police Establishment for allegedly taking a Rs 2 lakh bribe. The operation was based on a complaint regarding a Rs 5 lakh bribe demand to resolve irregularities in a cooperative housing society. Further investigations into Singh’s activities are ongoing.
