Aerospace giants NASA, Boeing dodge Titan claims, say had limited roles
Stockton Rush, OceanGate co-founder, revealed NASA and aerospace manufacturers aided in developing the carbon fiber hull of a submersible that later imploded. NASA’s involvement was minimal, and Boeing’s recommendations were partly ignored. The Coast Guard is probing the incident, noting a lack of independent review and scrutiny over Titan’s unconventional design.
