Thane court acquits man accused of killing friend in drunken altercation

A court in Thane district, Maharashtra, acquitted Ashu Chhotelal Berman of murder charges due to insufficient evidence. Accused of killing his friend Raju Patel during a drunken altercation over Rs 150 on October 15, 2020, Berman was given the benefit of the doubt by Principal District Judge S B Agrawal.
