Pant university research student develops biofiber herbicide capsules to ‘restore barren lands’
A research student at GB Pant University has developed herbicide capsules using natural biofiber to help rejuvenate barren land. These capsules absorb moisture and release essential nutrients, reducing labour and costs for farmers. The invention has drawn attention from the Department of Science and Technology, which awarded a fellowship under the WISE ‘Kiran’ project.
