9-year-old allegedly raped by septuagenarian in Amritsar

A nine-year-old girl in Amritsar’s Baba Deep Singh Colony was allegedly sexually assaulted by her elderly neighbour. When the incident came to light, local residents apprehended and handed over the suspect to the police, demanding charges under the POCSO Act. The police have arrested him and initiated a medical examination of the victim.
