Ghulam Nabi Azad steps back from Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls, citing health issues
Ghulam Nabi Azad, the leader of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), is unable to campaign for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections because of health issues. Having experienced chest pain on August 25 and being hospitalized at AIIMS New Delhi, Azad’s absence will significantly impact DPAP candidates, especially in the Doda and Bhaderwah constituencies.
