Punjab farmer dies by suicide at Khanauri protest site

Gurmeet Singh, a 53-year-old landless farmer from Thoothianwali village in Mansa, allegedly died by suicide at the Khanauri protest site where farmers have been demonstrating since February 13. The protests aim to highlight demands such as Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops. Singh faced financial difficulties and unpaid electricity bills.
