Goa’s wettest day in September; Panaji surpasses 4,000mm rainfall mark
Goa recorded its wettest September day of the season with 93.9 mm of rainfall in 24 hours, despite the Southwest monsoon withdrawal in northern India. The state has received a total of 408.8 mm this month, marking a 34% increase over the mean September rainfall from 1989 to 2018.
