Saudi Arabia warns Pakistan over beggars influx using pilgrimage as cover

Saudi Arabia is concerned about Pakistani beggars entering the Kingdom as pilgrims. In response, Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs plans an ‘Umrah Act’ to regulate travel agencies and prevent such activities. The Federal Investigation Agency will crack down on networks sending beggars, aiming to protect Pakistan’s image and ensure genuine pilgrims are not affected.
