Over 200 shifted in Uttarkashi after series of landslides

Uttarkashi residents were evacuated after boulders and debris fell from Varunavat Parvat, echoing the 2003 landslides. Over 200 people were moved to safety, and multiple departments, including the NDRF, are involved in clearing debris and assessing risks. The administration is taking preventive measures, recalling a previous Rs 282-crore treatment package.
