Ashwin breaks Kumble’s record for 4th innings wickets, joins Walsh in all-time list
Ravichandran Ashwin surpassed Anil Kumble’s record for most fourth-innings wickets by an Indian during the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai. Ashwin took three wickets, bringing his total to 96. He also equaled Courtney Walsh’s record of 519 Test wickets, becoming the eighth-highest wicket-taker overall.
