Meet Beipanjiang Bridge, world’s highest motorable bridge amid clouds
The Beipanjiang Bridge in Southwest China connects Yunnan and Guizhou provinces and holds the title of the world’s highest motorable bridge at 565 metres above the Beipan River valley. Completed in 2016, it drastically cuts travel time between these regions. The bridge features a steel truss girder cable-stayed design and cost USD 144 million.
