US justice department sues ship owner over fatal Baltimore bridge collapse

The US Justice Department has filed a lawsuit against Grace Ocean Private Ltd. and Synergy Marine Group, owners and managers of the cargo ship Dali. The suit seeks over $100 million after a power loss caused the ship to collide with a bridge support column, collapsing the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore and killing six workers.
