Violence breaks out between 2 groups over Ganesh idol immersion in Thane

In Thane’s Bhiwandi area, a clash broke out between two groups wanting to immerse their Ganesh idols first, resulting in stone-pelting and police intervention around 12.30 am. Several individuals were detained, and additional police units were deployed to maintain peace. Injuries among policemen and participants were reported.
