Eastern DR Congo receives sanitary equipment for mpox

Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo has received its initial shipment of sanitary supplies to address the mpox outbreak. North Kivu is significantly impacted by a concerning variant. The country has reported over 21,500 cases and 700 deaths. Vaccine donations from the EU and US have arrived and will be distributed soon.
