Gujarat: Stones-pelting at Ganesh pandal in Surat sparks communal flare-up, 6 arrested

In Surat’s Sayedpura area, six people were arrested for pelting stones at a Ganesh Pandal, with an additional 27 person detained for encouraging the act. Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi confirmed these arrests and mentioned that police are deployed throughout Surat to ensure peace. The investigation is still ongoing.
