Device giving real-time data on plant’s energy dynamics gets patent
Researchers affiliated with Calicut University have secured a patent for their ‘Botanic Energy Harvesting Device,’ which monitors plant energy production. Developed by Kayeen Vadakkan, Meena K Cheruvathur, Blessy Santhosh, and Mashhoor K, the device uses sensors to measure photosynthetic activity and carbon dioxide exchange. This innovation aims to optimize agricultural productivity and contribute to environmental research.
