Directors’ body suspends Kolkata filmmaker after ‘kiss’ allegation

Actor-turned-filmmaker Arindam Sil has been indefinitely suspended by the Directors Association of Eastern India after facing sexual harassment allegations on his film set. The suspension follows an apology letter sent to the West Bengal Commission for Women. Sil claims that any contact with the actress was accidental while demonstrating a shot and plans to seek legal advice.
