Telangana govt transfers Hyderabad police commissioner, CV Anand appointed new CP

In a sudden move, the Telangana government has transferred K Sreenivasa Reddy from his post as Hyderabad police commissioner. He will be replaced by senior IPS officer CV Anand, who is currently the director general of the Anti Corruption Bureau. This reshuffle comes ahead of the assembly elections.
