Court allows IIT-BHU gang rape survivor to testify via video conferencing

A Varanasi court granted an IIT-BHU gang rape survivor’s request to testify via video conferencing on Thursday. The 22-year-old B.Tech student was allegedly assaulted and filmed on campus on November 1, 2023. Three accused are currently in jail. The next hearing is scheduled for December 16.
