UK monk sexually abused children on island for several decades, finds report

The abbot of Caldey Abbey in Wales has issued an apology following a review uncovering decades of child sexual abuse by Father Thaddeus Kotik. The review revealed Kotik, who died in 1992, was a “serial and prolific” abuser, using lures like sweets and a tortoise to gain access to children.
