NMPA suggests committee to study Kulai fishing harbour project

New Mangalore Port Authority suggests creating a committee to study the safety and design of Kulai fishing harbour’s breakwaters, involving IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, or NIO Goa. Despite 26% work completion, construction paused due to fishermen’s concerns. A second opinion from IIT Madras on safe manoeuvring of country boats during monsoon will be sought.
