Chennai: Crocodile found in paddy field near Oorappakkam; rescued, sent to Vandalur zoo

A five-foot female marsh crocodile was captured in a paddy field in Arungal village near Oorappakkam after straying from its natural habitat. Wildlife officials suspect the crocodile may have originated from the Vandalur Zoo.
