Yashasvi Jaiswal hit two sixes in his unbeaten 90 on the second day of the first Test against Australia in Perth, becoming the batter with the most Test sixes in a calendar year. He surpassed Brendon McCullum’s record of 33 sixes, ending the day on 34 sixes in 12 Tests in 2024.
