Andhra Pradesh rains: Airdropping of food, water begins in flood-hit Vijayawada

NDRF teams and local officials have commenced the distribution of essential supplies to flood-stricken Vijayawada. Helicopters and drones are being utilized to deliver food, water, and medicines. Coordinated by the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, relief efforts have relocated 43,417 residents after record rainfall caused severe flooding due to a depression in the Bay of Bengal.
